The seed which sprouts never be always seedlings instead it grows up to stage where it can afford fruits in plenty. Likewise the ministries of our Region do not remain as it is but some are growing while others flowering. First of all the Mananthavady Province started its mission station in Rajasthan at Suratgarh on 28th July 1988 aiming at the ministry of education. Under the management of CST Fathers our sisters started teaching in their school. Later on as we opened new stations we continued teaching both under Diocesan and CST Fathers' Schools. But in the year of 2005 understanding the need of people we opened a new school in Kudi village Jodhpur, named St. Anthony's Convent School run by FRANCISCAN CLARIST EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY, aiming the development and growth of villagers. The school which was started with 20 students was guided by only sisters. Today the school is reached to a level where it has classes up to 7th standard, about 400 students, 18 staff in duty and 2 non-teaching staff.
Education is the greatest wealth that one can possess. As this ministry of education is of prime importance in this internet era we too value it highly. Many of our sisters are encouraged in this ministry in all the 12 stations in Rajasthan. Aiming at all round development of children along with academic studies we provide opportunities for co-curricular development. We take keen interest to conduct sports and games, cultural competitions, drawing, craft, music, etc. According to their interest and taste. Primary importance is also given in the field of science. In order to awaken their scientific interest and attitude of a scientist, project, science exhibition, field trip etc. are conducted. We are witnesses to the creative thinking and art of children. Accepting teaching as a service we also make provisions to develop their linguistic skills and thereby to increase their confidence. We wish that let these young ones be the scientist and speakers of the future India to reach her to greater heights.
God is so kind that He leads us ahead successfully with hope.
